  • “I want to see your face foremost when that demo reel starts.”
  • “The attention of the reel should be on YOU in the first scene and not your scene partner. If you are in a scene with Morgan Freeman and I first see Morgan Freeman then I’m confused.”
  • ​“It doesn’t matter if the context of the scene is jumbled. I don’t need the whole history of your character, or what happened before or after, I want to see you listening, you being the character, and I want to see you performing your craft at a high level.”
  • “The scene doesn’t have to make sense, cut to the bone, get down to business, you, close up, acting, fast - we don’t care about the plot.”
  • ​“Don’t be afraid to cut down the scene if it’s long, I want to see you hitting it and I want to hear your voice.”
